From early days growing up in Derbyshire, the natural environment of the countryside and the coast has always been a great influence for Sarah Jordan, from playing in the streams or holidays in Wales she always preferred to be outdoors getting into a mess of some fashion rather than watching telly.

After art college, Sarah then went on to start a degree focussed on Silversmithing where she taught herself jewellery, which is why she always reached for the large file at the bench to start with bold strokes!

Using these tools, Sarah created the sculptural style that has grown over the years. While she thinks it is important to maintain integrity to her vision, her ideas are constantly evolving.
